These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Disprofanity website, dashboard, APIs, upload flows, transcript review tools, and related services.
By accessing or using Disprofanity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the service. If you use Disprofanity on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Disprofanity provides AI-assisted audio and video review workflows, including upload handling, speech recognition, transcript-based review, lexicon-assisted detection, and media-output generation. Some parts of the service may be offered in beta, limited-access, or evolving form. Features may change, be withdrawn, or remain capacity-limited.
You retain ownership of the media, transcripts, and other content you submit to the service. You grant Disprofanity a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, copy, transmit, store, transform, analyze, transcribe, and otherwise process that content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service for you.
You represent and warrant that:
You agree not to:
Disprofanity includes automated speech recognition, lexicon matching, and review assistance. These tools may produce false positives, false negatives, transcription errors, timing inaccuracies, or incomplete results. You remain solely responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether content is appropriate for publication, moderation, compliance, or distribution. Disprofanity does not provide legal advice, platform-policy advice, or guaranteed moderation outcomes.
The service may use a credits-based model. Credits may be promotional, referral based, granted by Disprofanity, or otherwise made available through the service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, credits have no cash value, are non-transferable except where the product expressly supports a referral flow, and may be modified or discontinued as permitted by law and these Terms.
When you confirm a processing task, credits may be deducted immediately based on estimated or measured usage. If a task fails during the speech-recognition stage because the service cannot complete that stage, the service may automatically restore the deducted credits. Except for that service-side failure scenario or where required by applicable law, consumed credits are generally non-refundable.
Parts of the service rely on third-party providers, including identity, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, and speech-recognition providers. Your use of those integrated features may also be subject to the terms or policies of the relevant third party. We are not responsible for third-party systems that are outside our reasonable control.
We may add, remove, suspend, rate-limit, or modify features, workflows, pricing structures, eligibility rules, or access limits at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent feature parity, or ongoing support for any beta feature, specific export format, or integration. Scheduled or unscheduled downtime, maintenance, cold starts, capacity limits, or provider outages may affect the service.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, abused the service, or used the service in a manner that could harm users, providers, or Disprofanity. You may stop using the service at any time. Suspension or termination does not limit any rights or remedies that may otherwise be available.
The service itself, including our software, interface design, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by Disprofanity or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that outputs will be complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular moderation, editorial, legal, advertising, or platform-compliance purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disprofanity and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business, or opportunities arising out of or related to the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Disprofanity and its operators, affiliates, personnel, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from or related to your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws otherwise applicable to the operator of the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent mandatory law requires otherwise. Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us first and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will become effective when posted, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
